Battlefield: Bad Company

I'm thinking of getting this game for the PS3, does anyone have commentary on the game? (gameplay, personal experiences, tips, criticisms, rants?) I love fps', Battlefield being my favorite (2, not 2142...) so if anyone could tell me about the latest Battlefield game, that would be awesome.

First of all, wrong sub-forum - you might wanna PM a mod and ask 'em to move it to the Gaming (Other Games) sub-forum.

Secondly, I've never played BF:BC, but I know at least two or three people who HAVE played it, and every one of them like it a lot. Not as much as, say, CoD4, but they enjoyed the destructible environments and said it was at least worth checking out. (I didn't have to money to ever pick it up, though, so I didn't, and now it's WAY far down on the list of things I'd like to play, but that's how it goes.)
