The Avatarist Secret Santa

Its that time of the year again, however due to the absense of many webcomics around here that i would say fit the bill for a guest comic, this here secret santa will be different (although pretty similar to something else we had a while back).

Basically everyone signs up and chooses either an avatar they personally would like to be redrawn or leaves a rough desription of something they want drawn. Everyone is then randomly asigned someone elses avatar to draw in a chistmasy style but it should be done differently (be that style (oots, erf, catmuffin'd or anything), pose or anything else) in a way the avatarist prefers to draw and not just identical to the previous one with a santa hat added on.

Yeah, that basically sums it up. Sign up is open for 1 week, and then after that everyone should be given someone elses to draw for christmas day (or better yet the 23rd so i can pm them out for the 24th).

@ mad mask: Not enough comic refers to the problem we've had every time we've done these before. There will always be someone with a good, strong comic, 2 or so dozen strips at least who ends up being given a strip with 2 comics in it, one of which is a splash page, and has nothing to work on. Therefore i set a limit that only comics with 8+ strips could enter those when i run them, and there are not enough comics for that.

Edit: also, mask and rand, your current avvy's? Or what? We need information!

Clarification: They all get pm'd to me. Then on the 23rd, i shall set up a large list of pm's and something in the thread containing all the avatars. I shall then go to bed, and use a macro to post/send them all at midnight and then shut my computer down. Easy enough.

Anyhow, heresthe situation:

I got up at a reasonable time (GMT) and opened stockings. I then had 20 minuets to get the list and everything up before i left for my grandparents. However, in the typical way of karma, the forums went into backup in the 20 minuets. I then had to leave.

I am now at my grandparents with acess to about half of the avatars, the rest being on my pc at home. I am unsure of when we are leaving, this varying on whether or not we stay to watch Wollice and gromit or try to get home in time to see it there. Either way, they wont be up for about another 3 or 4 hours.

Sorry and all that. Guess karma didnt like me today (although it must have as Im now a pocket watch and tophat up).
