Why would you have to have Complete Psionics? I doubt Gorbash is going to make a contest where its going to be neccessary for you to have that book. April is just when the XPH was released last year, and the CP this year.

Why would you have to have Complete Psionics? I doubt Gorbash is going to make a contest where its going to be neccessary for you to have that book. April is just when the XPH was released last year, and the CP this year.

Rules changes, erata, optional rules, new monsters, etc. More or less, I won't be in the know as it were, though I might still try anyway, depends on what the contest is for and all.

Bah, shouldn't change psionics any more than the other Complete books did the base classes.

Complete Psionics doesn't even come out till the 16th, and the contest may be half over by that point. I'd not worry about it. Just go with what you know and have a good time with it :)

Cheer up. Think of the contest as a way to really get into Psionics. If you approach what you have to work with from the right angle, you might win. Look at all the entries that won this time...I doubt there is much of anything included that isn't OGC (except for the Elvaris Impersonator PrC). So unless its something character option heavy, like another character design contest, you should be good.

Well, I don't know about THAT, as I mentioned for example, Domovoi, Megaloceros, Tlalusks, and blue ice in my entry, which are from Frostburn, hearthfire which is in Races of Stone, and Frostwine which is from the Arms and Equipment Guide.

However, none of the actual rules asked you to use anything that was not open content.
