For some reason I can't find the answer anywhere...

fractional saving throws...

from my understanding, you add +2.5 for good saves at first level and +0.5 for any level beyond 1...for 'bad' saves, you add +1/3 a point.

is that right or am i smoking something good? should I share?

in my estimation, if you had rogue 10//fighter 1/monk 1/cleric 1/paladin 3/sword sage 2/pious templar 1/fist of raziel 1

you would end up with base saves of F+16/ R +11/ W +12
F=(2.5+2.5+2.5+2.5+.5+.5+1/3+1/3+2.5+2.5 = 16.666)
R=(2.5+2.5+.5+.5+.5+.5+2.5+.5+.5+.5 = 11)
W=(1/3+2.5+2.5+1/3+1/3+1/3+2.5+.5+2.5+1/3 = 12.1666)

Is that correct? I have the 'heroforge' character sheet and the numbers don't match my calculations...I swear I am doing it right, but it gives me F16/R7/W12 for my base saves which just confuses the hell out of me.

am I nuts? flat out wrong, or does my sheet have a logic error in it's calculation matrix?

General consensus is you only add the extra +2 once to each save, even if you multiclass.

That's how it works, though I'm too lazy to check your math now. The 'reasonable' interpretation my DMs use, though, is that you count the number of levels you have with each type of progression and calculate based on that. This prevents characters from getting Fort of +50 at level 20.
