Team Ready, Aim, Fire! XXIII - Minas Tirith [round 1]

[Lord Herman]

This is Team RAF, the team-based variant of RAF. You can find RAF Classic, the original, free-for-all version of the game, here.

Hello, and welcome to the twenty-third game of the team-based spin-off of Silkenfist's Ready, Aim, Fire!

The theme of this game will be the siege of Minas Tirith, one of the defining battles of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. The teams will be Gondor and Mordor.

Recruitment is open until Saturday, 18:00 GMT. If you want to join a specific team, please specify which one. If you don't specify a team, I will add you to a random team.

The Rules:
The basics of the game are explained in this comic (http://home.planet.nl/~hdgoede/tdg/StickArt/TeamRAF/Instructions.png).

Other rules:
- If you don't submit an action before the deadline, you time out. A time out is counted as an airshot. If you time out twice in a row, you die.
- You can send multiple actions in advance, but only do this when it's really necessary.
- The sign-up period is four days, and each round generally takes three days. When there are only a few players left, rounds take only two days, and I start writing as soon as I have all the actions.

Ha, but see here, you said, 'ring of power', and as I remember, there were a total of 20 rings of power made.
9 for men.
7 for the dwarves.
3 for the elves
1 for Sauron.
But the dwarven rings were taken or destroyed by dragon fire.

So you could hav either taken some rings of power from Sauron, taken some from the elves, there's plenty left! On the pessimistic side, that's like a 1/13 chance of it being Sauron's ring!

Edit: No sorry, the Nazgul is the ring-wraith and the fell beast is just its mount.

Technically, the first round has finished, but the second hasn't started, as we're waiting on the narration. And Herman said it was still in the works about a week and a half ago! That's recent! Comparitively!

Yeah, I guess it is. With my classes starting next week, I don't expect I'll pick up this game again anytime soon. So this game of Team RAF is over.

This isn't the end of Team RAF, of course. I just need to recharge my inspiration-o-meter. So expect a new Team RAF within the next few months*.

My apologies to all for making this game die, and especially to dallas-dakota who waited so long for a Lord of the Rings RAF game. Maybe I should make the next one about cookies to make it up to him.
