It's become apparent that some of you poor benighted souls don't know what a pixie cut is, so here is a Public Service Announcement.

This is a Pixie Cut (with a little attitude)

The ultimate source of knowledge: Pixie Cut (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixie_cut).

If you look at a picture of Sandy Duncan (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2514720000/nm0242098), 9 times out of 10, she's sporting a pixie cut.

p.s. Sandy Duncan is still hot.

Was this supposed to be a bit of information for us, or are you proposing something to discuss?

(By the way, for a stick-figure cartoon, I'd say that Haley's haircut and whats-her-face's look pretty darn similar. But maybe that's just 'cuz I'm a guy.)

I think he's flaunting his recent success with a Knowledge (Coiffures) check.

Thanks, You just helped make this comic a lot funnier for me

No. This is PSA. A "pixie cut" isn't the first thing non-native English speaker people learn on their English courses.

Also, thanks, brionl!

Thank you really much brionl. As Hydro Globus said, there is no way I would had learn that before.

*crys all tears of her body because this hair cut doesn't goes at all with her body* :smalleek:

Thank you! I knew vaguely what a pixie cut was (in a "umm...well, it's a short cut, right?" sorta way), but the picture really helps.

It's to see who did and didn't get the subtle pun. I thought there was some sort of reference in Celia's comment...now I get it.

Thanks OP!

"Still hot" pretty much means the pixie cut is distinctly cold, which seems an accurate assessment. The lass would look about as good with a sack over her hair.

It's not a bad cut, but it does require a certain style of person to pull it off correctly.

Personally, with just a little touchup, I think Haley could pull off the look. After all, shorter hair doesn't get in the way of acrobatic thievery.

Yeah. All else being the same, I find pixie cuts a little short for girls, but it just really goes well with a certain personality. Call it the "manic pixie" - I think TVTropes has a page for that.

Course, Haley is not really that personality, at least any more. A bit too mature and levelheaded.

I do like pixie cuts on women. The big problem with them is that it isn't exactly a short term hairstyle :smalltongue:

"Still hot" would also imply that she was hot to start with, which see never was IMO. Though I like the voluptuous types, not the waif-like chicks, so YMMV.

I had a pixie cut a few years ago. It was pretty cute. Annoying to maintain though, since if you let it grow out too long you'll end up with a mullet. :smallyuk:

That might have been Crystal intention for giving Haley a pixie cut. If it grows out it would create something humiliating, but then again Crystal is quite immature.

Well yeah. I mean... let's remember, aren't we talking about the actress who's most well-known and beloved role was that of a pre-pubescent boy?
