I dont play D&D so I'm not sure if it's possible to lift things with your mind, but can the MiTD do it? http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0550.html The first panel in that comic shows the bucket..floating:smalleek:

I'm pretty sure it's just an artistic trick and whatever appendages the MitD is holding it with are just shrouded in shadow like the rest of him.

I don't think so. MitD's probably holding the bucket in his left hand. At least, probably his.

Nope. Stupid, telekinetic-instead-of-arms manipulation, plot-level powers?

The MitD is Homestar Runner (http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/Homestar_Runner)!

The MitD is a Carbosilicate Amorph (and since this fun idea actually fits all the facts about him, I'll continue to maintain it until I see actual proof to the contrary) and as such, does everything with his "mind", since an Amorph's "brain" is distributed all through its entire body.

But when we see a bucket seemingly "floating" as the MitD holds it to his mouth, just think of it as being held from the other side - maybe using suckers.
