Factotums for the win. I'm an extremely eclectic person, so factotum is right down my alley. Other than that I have a great love for the Tome of Battle characters and the Psychic Warrior, sometimes at the same time. Warlocks and Artificers also have a decent degree of appeal. Bards have their uses, but I really, really, really dislike Vancian casting and the balance of Arcane/Divine magic, so I tend to stick with Psionics and the other alternative casting systems instead.

Oh, I forget to mention I LOVE TOTEMISTS.

Not that I've got to play one yet, but I'd say Binder - I just love the flavor of the class, even if it isn't a powerhouse.

I like Rogues with high Int/Dex/Cha. You're now the party face, the stelthy, and the stabby at the same time. With 28 PB, 8/16/8/16/8/16 is my stat array. 11 skill points/level, you can get both "face" skills, and "sneak" skills.

I have to admit my favorite class is the Warmage. There is something about being a walking swiss army knife of elemental doom that is just fun. Every game I play in with one is fun regardless of how much more powerful real wizards or sorcerers end up.

My funny story was when fighting an enemy Wizard BBEG that let the pitiful warmage get to within 60ft while trouncing the rest of the party. I looked at him and said, "I am the last thing you will ever see" one failed reflex save later(Who needs reflex anyway right?) the now blind wizard from my sunbeam spell could not see the Dimensional Anchor spell cast him.

Let's just say that it ended pretty quick after that since the mage could not target most of his spells on people.

God I love the Warmage, the most under estimated caster in the whole game.

Didn't we just have this topic?

Anyway, I like Rogues. Middling power, but the most flexibility of all the classes.

Warblade. Combines smashy-smashy with interesting mechanics.

Druids. I've always loved the natural appeal, the animal companions, I like spellcasting, I like the flavor of them needing to be neutral of some variety, the wildshape is pretty cool, and the picture in the PHB is fantastic.

Warlocks, and most PrC's that advance their progression. Dualcasting warlocks are fun. I also like the Barbarian type classes/PrC's, though I woudn't make a PC one. Cohorts yes, main character nooooo.

Warblades, swordsages, barbarians, rogues, shapeshift druids are my favorites. I just love melee classes and like to be able to either to jump into a horde of enemies and wade through them while cutting all of the into a bloody swathe or be able to silently assassinate all of them.

Factotum. The idea of dabbling in many fields and using knowledge and cunning to get by is both a great idea for an adventurer, and my basic approach to life.

Oh, and they can get free actions and add their INT bonus to AC.

Soulknives, obviously for flavor = super poser class second only to the bard, and abjurers, favorite buffing class, can later take master specialist prc :P

Dread Necromancer. Played correctly with a Heath Ledger Joker-esque mentality, this guy would wreck police stations, slaughter, violate, decapitate and deliver paladins to their temples, and (with some help) burn down military forts.

As always, it comes back to the dreams. Most of my dreams are laid in cold, giant lands of icy wastes and gloomy skies, and of wild, wind-swept fens and wilderness over which sweep great sea-winds, and which are inhabited by shock-headed savages with light fierce eyes. With the exception of one dream, I am never, in these dreams of ancient times, a civilized man. Always am I the barbarian, the skin-clad, tousle-haired, light-eyed wild man, armed with a rude ax or sword, fighting the elements and wild beasts, or grappling with armored hosts marching with the tread of civilized discipline, from fallow fruitful lands and walled cities. This is reflected in my writings, too, for when I begin a tale of old times, I always find myself instinctively arrayed on the side of the barbarian, against the powers of organized civilization.

Warlock - purple rays of hate, FTW.
Because of one game that I was in.

We were playing ravenloft, My friends and I played ourselves(using d20 modern) getting trapped in the mists and being wisked away. OOC I have make a couple primitive firearms out of pipes, and in game i had an M-16 (I was in the Airforce at the time so it was not as far fetched as you think), So in game this mad scientist type agrees to teach me magic if i teach him how to make firearms. Unfortunately I was not specific. I thought that I would learn to be a wizard, instead I was beaten and torchered until such time as my hate became shiny purple beams. So now i was a warlock instead. after a while I learned Darkness(don't remember specific invoc), See in darkness(nor on this one either), and Hideous Blow, Then my friend who had become a paladin in my absence showed me what a terrible creature i had become, and I set about on the path of redemption, and started leveling fighter. Never finished that game but it was a ton of fun. I recommend you all try it sometime.

3.X: Duskblade. Barbarian is in second, with Bard in third.

4e: Warlord. Haven't played anything else enough to really guage, though.

I did just start a wizard, and had a lot of fun screwing with the enemies.

Druid. Usually self nerfed with no AC or Natural spell, the fluffs just right up my avenue and the spell list is chock full of fun stuff.

I'd say Cleric because they are the best healing class. Other spellcasters are fun as well, though.

I honestly don't have a "favorite" class (denoting singular) anymore. I love a lot of them, even though I may not have played them. But, if I had to choose, it would be a monk. I am a large individual IRL, and when I think of D&D, fantasy is the word, not bird (LOL Family Guy). The things a monk represents and can do fluff-wise are things I in my massive dumpy frame am not allowed to do by the rules of physics. Quite frankly, if I tried, I would be excommunicated by the church of physics on the spot, reguardless if I broke my neck or not.

I know monks aren't the greatest class to some, and they fall off when looking for the "OP" builds in the game, but I am a roleplayer, not an optimizer. While I like war, destruction and slaughter as much as the next Grummsh or Erythnul, I don't play just to be the one-man wrecking crew.
