Beckett's Clinic

She does not let him take her hands, but she does lean into him. Beckett's reassuring voice and words seem to be enough, and she stops shaking.

"Packed? Yeah... that's a good idea. Can't stay here forever. I'll see what I can find on the television."

She turns and steps out, taking a lat glance at Shi Shi's body as she steps through the plastic curtain.

Guess not everyone can stand... it. she thinks to herself as she walks up the stairs. A moment later, anther thought runs through her head.

Can I?

As she looks out each window on the second floor, this thought kind of sits in the back of her mind. She sits down on a chair, pondering this. She comes to a solution quickly: she knows that, even if she had to, she could not take her own life. This knowledge is not quite as reassuring as it might seem.

She turns on the television, trying to find a station with some information on the apocalypse and escaping it.
