The reason you likely can't combine flying and Battle Jump is that the feat only replaces the movement part of a Charge. Charge remains a special full-round action with all the limitations not altered by Battle Jump. You can't combine flying horizontally with dropping from above your opponent, because Charge requires that all of your movement must be directly toward your opponent. If you can hover in place during the previous round, and your opponent does not move from their location during their turn, then you could use Battle Jump to drop on them. Otherwise, this combination is unworkable.
