Description:

Show

She typically basically looks like a hunchbacked pinecone with huge wicked claws, but when she needs to deal with people, it's not uncommon for her to shift into a weathered, sun-beaten old crone of a woman, draped in a shawl and ratty clothes.

Personality:
Spoiler
Show

She's down to earth and shy, but very altruistic. She frequently will assume the form of tools (plows, axes, etc.) that villagers need to help them with their tasks, but tends to take off before they even get a chance to thank her. Essentially, she's a fey trickster archetype; not one for bold confrontation, but constantly moving behind the scenes to do good for innocents and punish the haughty.

History:

Show

Pekoe wanders from village to village, essentially "haunting them" with favors in exchange for their gratitude and a chance to relieve them of their pests. She never stays in one place for long, instead wandering about as her whims take her.

Nada.

Abilities:
Spoiler
Show

Current Power Level: 45 She doesn't have much raw power, but she's naturally durable and her shapeshifter abilities only compound this.

Shapeshifting: Pekoe is a very talented shapeshifter, capable of forming inanimate objects, taking the shapes of other animals, and partially transforming her limbs. She can even shapeshift into a very sturdy suit of scaled armor, though she'd rather not have to take the brunt of attacks unless it's needed. She can shift with no time limit (or at least, no practical one).

Molten Claw: Pekoe can't actually project her ki outside of her body proper yet, but she can concentrate it in her large foreclaws, letting her cut through things like a hot knife through butter.

Shifting Scale: The most taxing of her abilities, she can yank out one of her armored scales while shifting it into another object, and then use it as a makeshift projectile or weapon. Shuriken, fireworks, glue traps, etc. are all pretty common for her, but she tends not to resort to this because of how badly it hurts and the long time it takes to regrow it.

So, not much for motivations right now, but hey, I'm a sidekick, I'm not exactly needing War & Peace. ;)

I'm not sure what color yet; we'll see what's still open. : 3
