Now that is something I like to argue about.
However, I find that this exchange has proved useful:
Eggel uses "history" in a way that does not support Xi's town-devil claim. Xi deflects by stating history is mostly untrue, which does not invalidate Eggel's point, but personally draws my attention, because I do actually like to argue semantics. It's not a smoking gun, but I think Xi has hurt her case as town here more than anything else she has said.
