[Abrajin's Library]

"Death would be inconvenient," Myriam admits. Without a material anchor to hold her firmly lodged, she would be quickly dissolved by the world's caustic, unnatural laws. That would be bothersome. Getting a fragment of herself here had been difficult to begin with. And she still hasn't completed her objective. Being forced to start over again because something kills her body? Not a best case-scenario.

"I take it you can't help?" she asks. "What exactly will I be fighting? Or... does that fall under the 'best not to know' clause?"

The cereal eating spooks watch the exchange impassively.

It doesn't look like they have any intention of intervening.

"I think we can use the exit door at any time," Myriam continues, gesturing toward the door with the green word EXIT glowing above it. "But I'm not sure where it would take us."

Somewhere that isn't the library, presumably.

And given that it is a pan-dimensional library, that somewhere could be anywhere.
