While I am on the one hand excited about the prospect of being able to generate custom, decent-looking, art despite my own lack of talent or training, I would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about the wider implications for art as a whole. I don't think removing the human element from art almost entirely is a net win for anyone... well, anyone other than the tech companies that own the software.
I don't want to derail the thread though. I was interested and impressed to learn about this stuff.
