Whether or not it's important (if this is still being monitored or if this thread is even checked at all anymore), I may be on record (depending on how the system works) as Dr. Weasel.

I suppose I should request a ban on that account because I randomized its password and e-mail address to block my own access to this site during a several-week stretch of heavily-weighted college exams.

Some people have requested that a mod _close_ their account for a set period of time when they needed a barrier between themselves and posting temptation and/or to demonstrate that commitment to parental units; a "Closed Account" can be re-opened later, although I don't know how one would get in contact and request it. . . .The practice sprung up recently, probably before you randomized, but randomizing isn't necessary any more.
