The sporking up thing can be used to explain inconsistencies. If camera A was sporked by Tessa (who has spent a lot of time in the future) then it might be really advanced. Where camera B sporked by Czernov is rather grainy. Tessa wasn't around for the building of the main base, though Czernov was, so most of the cameras would be his. Tessa sporked the detention wing, but it's been partially destroyed since then, and rebuilt by others.

So what it comes down to is that if plot demands a few cameras with different capabilities than the others, then it won't stretch credibility too much to have them exist. But players should only invoke this for a plot they are running (or for the occasional non-plot silliness, like the pink wax). You shouldn't use it to try and beat someone else's plot.

Did all of that make any sense at all? I don't think it did.
