The ties that blind us
I'm looking for spells that cause blindness or turn you invisible- preferably low level and preferably evocations. The point behind this is combing war mage with sneak attack, just as a point of reference.

Re: The ties that blind us
The answer is of course glitterdust, commonly mentioned as being silly powerful for 2nd level spell.
EDIT: Obviously, Ninjed.Last edited by Spiryt; 2008-12-21 at 01:09 PM.

Re: The ties that blind us
Sadly, those aren't Evocations. City Lights could help a bit:
City Lights(RoD p164)
<Evoc[light], VSM(tinder), 1StdAct, Instantaneous,
Fort˝, SR applies>
– All creatures within a 60’ radius Burst of the
caster are Dazzled for 1 minute (no save) and
Blind for 1 round (FortNeg).
Any [darkness] spell within the area of effect
whose spell level is equal or lower than this
spell is Countered or Dispelled.
This spell may only be cast if there are at least
four sources of artificial light (Light spells,
torches, lanterns, etc.) within the area of
effect. The spell does not need to be cast
within the limits of a city, despite its name.
(I got it from http://crystalkeep.com/d20/rules/DnD...ererWizard.pdf , and it's a level 2 spell.) Sadly, it really isn't that great.Last edited by Tempest Fennac; 2008-12-21 at 01:43 PM.
