So i need to outfit my character so that he can walk around without being detected as super evil.

hat of disguises is one, but isnt there something that makes my aura and alignment undetectable?

what else would i need?

DMG: Ring of Mind Shielding. Protects you against alignment detection and most things.

Doesn't solve a zone of truth, though. ZoT is harder to stop, although it does permit a will save, spell resistance, and is mind-affecting.

Glibness, however, would add a caster level check in there as well, but there isn't really an item of glibness.

potion of undetectable alignment? It's cheap and lasts 24 hours. That would be long enough to last an entire day's worth of villainy.

Wouldn't a hat of disguise allow you to hide that? And no duplicitous bastard should be without a hat of disguise, anyway.

Even one level of the Master of Masks PrC gets you a couple of magic masks which disguise your alignment and never need to be removed. They add cool bonuses too.
