Warcraft setting
Allright, so my gaming group, or rather, myself and another member of it, was looking to see if there was a decent warcraft tabletop RGP, using d20 or it's own setting. I couldn't find anything in my brief google serch, so I turn to the playground.
Does anyone know if such a thing exists?trill in da playground

Re: Warcraft setting
There are two. There's a World of Warcraft RPG, which is very blah. There is also the Warcraft d20 game, which is just great (I really liked it anyways). My players still recall felguards with a smile and a grimace (advanced Felguard to Large size, give it Awesome Blow... profit!).
All that I say applies only to myself. You author your own actions and choices. I cannot and will not be responsible for you, nor are you for me, regardless of situation or circumstance.

Re: Warcraft setting
There is a Warcraft RPG out there. I'm pretty certain it's 3E d20, but I'm sure somebody else knows better than I.
From what I've heard, it's not terribly well done. I've never played, though, so you may want to check on that yourself.Halbert's Cubicle - Wherein I write about gaming and . . . you know . . . stuff.

Re: Warcraft setting
That appears to the WoW RPG, not the regular Warcraft one. The WoW one, IIRC, isn't supposed to be that great. The regular Warcraft RPG, though, is supposed to be pretty good, and was put out by White Wolf. You can find the books on that website, or on Amazon (and probably other places).

Read this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warcraf...leplaying_Game
and this:
http://www.wowwiki.com/Warcraft:_The_Roleplaying_Game
Basically, the first edition is probably want you want (the one before it went "Word of Warcraft"). The relevant books are Warcraft: The Roleplaying Game, Manual of Monsters, Alliance and Horde Compendium, Magic and Mayhem, Lands of Conflict, and Shadows and Light. I believe RPG Now has PDFs of all of those for sale if you can not find the print editions."It's not like chess, where choosing to play black or white dictates your entire strategy. Also, chess doesn't have steam cannons."
