E6 Classes? And an idea...

When using the E6 variant, I tried using the normal classes but i found things to be kinda slow and the players didn't really get what I expected them to get. Then I've found another suggestion someone has created where they boiled down most of the core classes and gave them more unique class abilities and really gave each class their own feel. My suggestion would be instead of using any of the ideas above, instead the PC's use Prestige classes as their class. Some PrC's would be off limits, such as the ones that give 9 levels of spells in 10 levels. With this variant each character would be unique and there are hundreds (I'm sure) of PrC's to choose from, so everyone would have their unique style.

There's an inherent problem with that: PrCs vary in power more than core classes. Some have more difficult or demanding requirements, and, as such, give a much greater benefit.

Also, how do you handle casting classes or martial maneuver using classes?
