Default Ways to get a breath weapon? (3.5)

I'm wondering exactly how many ways you can get a breath weapon in third ed. I'd like one of my existing characters to get one, and short of being resurrected as a half-dragon, I don't know what to do. Of course, a list of ways to get a breath weapon is something every player could potentially find a use for. So, what ways do the playgrounders know?

Take a level in Dragon Shaman.

Or a level in Dragonfire Adept (even if DA breath weapon are different from those of the DS or of the dragons themselves).

Be Dragonborn of Bahamut and pick Heart-aspect. Alternatively, be a Dragonfire Adept. Preferably both. Both work without the suckiness inherent to Dragon Disciple or Dragon Shaman.

    EDIT: Stupid Dragonfire Ninjas.

One of my personal favorites, although not necissarally ideal: Drunken Master.
I find D&D to be quite educational... No where else could they get me interested in math or statistics...

78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature.
    Where did you start yours?
I had two of the PCs in the center of a gang of orcs. Then, the third PC and my DM-run character came in to assist... Then they chose to go to the tavern.

Probably not allowable if you've already created the character, but Unearthed Arcana's Bloodlines gives the option of the Draconic bloodlines, and a Major bloodline grants (among other things) a breath weapon, for the cost of purchasing 3 LA over time...

This. It can be added to a character-in-play with the cost of 100 gps and some roleplaying. No LA or anything like that.

Eat lots of onions, garlic, and Vietnamese fish sauce. I actually saw someone vomit after being breathed on by someone who ate that combo.

I actually compiled this a while back when considering ways to deal with mooks. My conclusion was that it's not a good investment for most builds. The only up side is that you can often take Quicken Spell Like Ability, and use it as a Swift Action three times per day. I'd also add that the Dragonfire Adept rocks, but then your entire build is essentially your breath weapon and invocations.

    ECL: source: book: damage

1: Dragonborn race/template: Races of the Dragon: 1d8 per 3 HD
1: Draconic Breath feat: Races of Drag: 2d6 per spell lvl

5: Druid variant: Drag Magic: 1d6 per 2 lvls
6: Dragon Samurai: Miniatures Handbook: 1d8 per level, stacks
6: Tattoed Monk 1 PrC: Comp Warrior: 4d6
6: Dragonheart Mage 1 PrC: Races of Drag: 2d6-3d6 per spell lvl
8: Swift Wing 3 PrC: Drag Magic: 1d6 per level (positive energy)
9: Diamond Dragon 4 PrC: Drag Magic: varies

I also know there are a bunch of spells that effectively duplicate a breath weapon, but I don't have the patience to research all of them.
