Point buy for 3.5
Stupid question, but it's been a while since I played 3.5 and a forum search for 'point buy' isn't particularly helpful.
I can't find it in my books or online, can anybody tell me the table for D&D 3.5 ability score point buy, or perhaps just tell me where to find it?Avatar by Nevitan

Re: Point buy for 3.5
It is not in the SRD, because it was never released as Open Game License, me thinks?
Anyone know if it's illegal to tell him how it works?

Re: Point buy for 3.5
Nah, its not illegal. Its published in the Living Greyhawk Campaign Sourcebook, which is free for download off the RPGA website, a direct affiliate of WotC.
Basically, 1 to 1 until 14, then 2 to 1 for 15-16, and 3-1 for 17-18.
Then you pick what PB to use, typically 25, 28, 32, 36, or more for obscenely powerful games, and buy your stats according to the table.
