Re: [3.X] Geomancer question
Unfortunately, no.
Geomancer is one of those classes that is nice in theory, but terrible in practice. You'd need to have at least 3 class levels each in Wizard and Cleric in order to get into it.
The Divine Sorcery feat won't let you get into this class any more than it would let you get into Hierophant.

Re: [3.X] Geomancer question
Divine Sorcery allows you to cast one cleric domain spell each day, but it is still cast as an arcane spell. What you need is the Southern Magician feat from Races of Faerun.

Re: [3.X] Geomancer question
It allows you to cast arcane spells as divine or divine as arcane a limited number of times per day.

Re: [3.X] Geomancer question
Either that or Alternate Spell Source.
If you can get early entry, Geomancer makes for great Arcane Gish. Ignore all ASF after a certain level, which means running around in Full Armor and Stone Body. Also gets extra natural attacks (Gain Bite and Gore on top of normal attacks), special attacks (Improved Grab, Improved Trip) and various other nice Ex abilities (Flight, Ferocity, Blindsense, Water Breathing).

Re: [3.X] Geomancer question
It's got some abuse potential, if you use tricks for early entry.
For one, it lets you DMM Arcane spells, being one of the few ways to get DMM Persist Foresight (Clr3/Wiz1/Geomancer10/Iot7V)
It also allows you to bypass ASF, but there's much better ways for a Gish build (Spellsword1 and you can bypass 10%, which is all you need for Mithral Chain Shirt)
Otherwise, it blows worse than MT, because it only advances spellcasting from one side.SpoilerQuite possibly, the best rebuttal I have ever witnessed.
