Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
If everyone may direct their attention to the right, they'll see a touching moment in PEACE history. Now, if you all direct your attention to the left, you'll see Antony wondering if he should ruin the moment.

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
Yes. Please. I'm considering having KR-15 do that exact same thing. I can do serious, I can't do emotional. Well, not emotional in this sense.
Oh, and cower in fear. The Necromancer Lord has arrived. A cookie to anyone who can spot the cleverly concealed pun in their pseudonym.Originally Posted by Lord Magtok

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
I wouldn't bet against Laroth wanting to ruin it either.
I don't think there are any other individuals who are that cruel that they'd ruin a moment of pure character development... Maybe Dancing Man, but we haven't seen Vael play that since Free Hand was still around.

Nah. I can go with the emotional moment this time. It just makes it sweeter when I break it.

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
No one up for decoding Orson's name? Trust me, it's pun-tastic.

What's the name? Orson Scott Card? Orson Welles?

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
It's the current pseudonym of The Necromancer Lord. (fear him.)

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
I'd fear him.
But there's like 3 or 4 necromancy lords floating around right now.

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
I know. I considered not introducing him now, but damned if I let some second raters steal his position. Also, 3? The only one I can think of is Faust. Which makes it 14 Necromancer Lords floating around right now. (That's why you should fear him)

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
If it's none of the ones I've listed, and it is instead a pun based on a very specific media object, I'd say it's a bad pun. And not in the good 'bad pun' sort of way either.
Puns are only as good as its audience.
For the sake of solving this:
Nostradamus (Orson backwards is similar to the first two syllables)
Our Son
Our Sun
Your Son
Your Sun
Morison
Lord's Son
Lord Son
Molson (Canadian beer)

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
No, no, no and no. You're on the right track with the Nostradamus one though. It is indeed something backwards.
To be fair though, it's a bit of a stretch. It was easy enough to make the name from the root, but the other way around... not so much. No matter. Orson is a nice name anyway.Last edited by Ashen Lilies; 2009-02-06 at 11:49 PM.

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
Necromancer => Necro => Orcen => Orson.
As I said, a bit of a stretch.Originally Posted by Lord Magtok

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
Sure.
If you say ripping it in two and running it through the paper shredder is a stretch, then yes, yes it was.

@^: Necro = Corpse, so it's not really a stretch.Last edited by Boo; 2009-02-07 at 12:01 AM.

Re: ACRONYM OOC 3: Freeform Forever!
You're going to have to add 'get killed by adventurers' to that list in the near future.

Pfft.... Cut scenes don't count. Sort of like Cal's backstory universes.

Do Taverna Zombies and Sirk count in The Necromancer Lord's Favor?
