OOTS #624 - The Discussion Thread
New comic is up.
I'm tempting fate putting the strip up during the morning, so don't be surprised if I have to take the message board down in order for people to read it.

Re: OOTS #624 - The Discussion Thread
Why do I continue to be amazed at the thousands of uses Bigby's Hand spells can be put to?

Nice work. Apparently Qarr isn't that good at tempting yet.

Re: OOTS #624 - The Discussion Thread
Is it a bug or why did he write "Bugsby"?
Man, I didn't know that hand could do all those things, though....

Qarr is green because he is "covered with a shimmering emerald field".

Let's see how long it takes until someone comes up with house rules for "Bugsby's / Bigby's Flicking Finger" and "Bugsby's / Bigby's Expressive Single Digit".

Re: OOTS #624 - The Discussion Thread
Not to be "That Guy", but in panel 1 I think the proper word would be "complement", not "compliment".
"I am sorry to say that it will not do. Magic is not respectable, sir. It is not," Sir Walter searched for a word, "serious. The Government cannot meddle with such things." (Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell, by Susanna Clarke)

Re: OOTS #624 - The Discussion Thread
What a great way to wake up on a Friday Morning. Bugsby's Expressive Single Digit indeed.
Qaar got of very lucky. If he wants to convert/ or partner with V, He will need to start out with the Bait. ("I know why your spells have not worked").

Wow. Qarr's really not that good at tempting people. Well, people who absolutely refuse to be distracted.
I love the sound effect that goes with Bugsby's Expressive Single Digit.

Re: OOTS #624 - The Discussion Thread
Bugsby's expressive single digit! Awesome.
Why do I think this isn't the last we'll see of the imp?
Oh, and I think there's an error in panel 1: compliment where complement was meant?Aren't all of us "not-nale"?

Re: OOTS #624 - The Discussion Thread
I wonder what V's been doing about food? I'm guessing that fishing wouldn't be that preductive unless V has a boat or something which would allow him/her to said out from the island. Whether V feels there's even time to cook things properly is debatable as well.

Re: OOTS #624 - The Discussion Thread
So, V is currently "merely" incredibly irritable rather than evil, and still very, very good at (pronoun) skillset.
Good to know.Remember how I was wishing for the peace of oblivion a minute ago?

Great strip, just what I needed today.
I love how V so easily caught and then got rid of Qarr.

I know V doesn't have to sleep, but are their actually rules on hunger in D&D? Unless the hands been doing the fishing? Who knows?
