Whimsy Demons are nigh-omnipotent fiends born of every dreamer who has not allowed morality to bound his imagination. More absent-minded than malevolent, the ever-dreaming Whimsy Demons are in a constant ecstasy, acting on slight whimsies and dreamed-of fancies. While they can be swayed, few can hold their loyalty for very long–even the most powerful of demon lords. A Whimsy Demon resembles a humanoid with sharp claws and fangs and four feathered, rainbow-colored tentacles emerging from its back, though its form constantly shifts and changes based on its whims.

Demon’s Dream (Ps)
A Whimsy Demon can manifest any psionic power as a psi-like ability, with a manifester level of 18th, fully augmented for manifester level. The DC of a manifested power is 19 plus the power’s level. In order to manifest this power, however, it must make a Lucid Dreaming check, with a DC of 15 plus twice the power’s level. In addition, the DC is increased by two for every time the demon has used this ability that day, whether successfully or not. If a Whimsy Demon fails its check to manifest its power, the power is not manifested, and the demon takes 1d3 points of Cha damage as its dreams fade before its eyes.

Summon Demon (Ps)
Once per day a Whimsy Demon can automatically summon 1d4 Cerebriliths or one Whimsy Demon. This ability is the equivalent of a 9th-level spell.

World of Our Desires (Su)
Once per day as a standard action, a Whimsy Demon may make a touch attack against an enemy with one of its tentacles. If the attack is successful, the creature struck must make a DC 28 Will save or become caught in a dream-like world of whimsy and wonder, similar to that of the microcosm power, manifester level 17th. Unlike the actual power, however, there are multiple ways to escape this dream world. It can be undone with the microcosm power, as normal. If the affected creature is brought within the area of a hallow spell, it is freed from the dream world for as long as it remains in the area. A dispel evil spell, cast on the subject, with a caster level greater than or equal to the Whimsy Demon’s manifester level, has a 20% chance to free the creature, plus 5% for every one the caster’s caster level exceeds the demon’s manifester level. Finally, when a Whimsy Demon dies, all creatures it trapped are freed from their dream worlds.

Born of Whimsy (Ex)
A Whimsy Demon uses its Cha modifier, rather than its Con modifier, to determine how much bonus hp it gains for each HD it has.
