[TOWN PLOT, ALWAYS RECRUITING] The Expedition to the Tomb of Drut'Inxxa

[Shades of Gray]

Around you there is huge equipment used for excavating. This is the site where the fabled tomb of Drut'Inxxa is said to be, according to Oliver Gray's research. This tomb supposedly has vast amounts of treasure inside, to those brave enough to enter.

You have come here to see the excavation site, or to take part in the exploration of the tomb. Or maybe just because you heard a loud racket coming from here, while you were trying to sleep. Regardless, you are here now.

Isn't it marvelous?
Yes, I can't wait to explore the ruins firsthand.

The first voice comes from an old man, wearing explorer's garb.

The second voice comes from Oliver, the man who discovered the tomb.

That "phasing" thing you are doing might be useful.

("phasing" refers to when Alice opens a hole in the ground out of shadow, which then a figure rises and gradually forms into my characters.[just FYI])

A tallish, purple-haired woman walks in. She wears a black leather jacket and pants, and her left eye is covered by a patch. In her right hand, there is a cane.
The hell is all this going on here?

It's the bartender! Dusky exclaims at Nerick, ignoring most everyone else, Are you helping too?

Ravik walks into the excavation site
I think I'd like to join the expedition, I've been in one or more tombs, besides you never know what kind of besties could be in there

Well, Oliver here has discovered a long lost tomb full of treasure (and maybe traps) we are recruiting for an expedition.

An expedition, aye? Tombs and treasure and perilous beasties? Well, count me in if I get to slaughter something.

sounds like a jolly good time eh?
He pulls out a unlit torch.

Nerick and Alice are standing by the entrance, waiting for something to happen.

(oh, the taunting Bubble would taunt Ravik right now from slaughter and jolly good time....)

Dusky stares up at the rest of the group, This is...a rather large party....

The more of us there are, the more we can afford to lose.
She says this with a rather unpleasant smile.

There will most likely be many alternate paths, so we may need multiple teams.

Optimism hasn't gotten me through life. Killing things, however, has.

There may be ancient guardians, such as golems. But that isn't killing, more like destroying. Undead maybe as well.

Pestilence shrugs, fingering her wedding ring.

Well I was just kidding, for me killing just made it all worse

Dusky still holds his hand over his head hopefully... Can I.... pick the teams please...? he takes his mouse in his other hand, At least let me be on the same team as my familliar, Noodle...

Well, we don't have enough people to justify multiple teams yet, and we haven't even gotten inside the temple yet, only uncvoered the trapdoor.

soooo should we just head on in then?

Oh... Dusky lowers his hand, disappointment in his voice. Well, okay, I guess that means I get to be with Noodle.
He begins playing with said tiny little mouse.

Hue and Oliver head to the trapdoor, made of stone with hieroglyphics on it.

Hue grabs one side, while Oliver grabs the other, they pull it open together.

A dark, winding staircase with many spiderwebs and unlit torches is just beyond the entrance.
