    Default Solo Gestalt and CR

    Looking for support/correction:

    A) Playing Solo means CR+3 = solo class level

(ie. CR1 monster balanced for solo class level 4)

    B) Gestalt, on its own, CR-1* = party of 4
*= -2 if save vs such dependent monster
    (ie. CR5/CR6* is balanced against a party of 4 level 4 PC's)

Then C) CR+2/+1* = Solo Gestalt class level

(ie. CR2 or 3* is balanced against a solo gestalt lvl 4 character??)

CR, CR is a guideline, when you have only one players, his/her specific weaknesses will be more important than if you have a whole party to cover them. The personal optimilisation level is also quite important, the best advise I can give is start at CR 2 and throw more powerful foes if the player handless them too easily, and don't hit specific weaknesses too often.

What's next? Schrödinger equation? HΨ=EΨ? Seriously WTF?

The best summary of this board I've seen so far:
