Wildshaper
I'm building the Master of Many Forms using the Ranger's Unearthed Arcana Variant with a dash of nature's warrior.
on that subject:
(1)is there a way to get the supernatural, or spell like abilities of the forms i have access to?
I only found "assume supernatural ability" in the savage species and it is very limited. If I'm not mistaken I only choose one SU Ability & I can only use it in that one form. (right? please tell me I'm mistaken!)
(2) I know I once read something that went into great detail about Wildshape. Beyond what the PHB has, but know I can't find it. Does anyone know where it is?
thanks all!

Re: Wildshaper
For B, you're probably talking about the MoMF bibleover on the old CO.
And for A, I haven't checked, but that sounds about right. Good luck even getting that into a game.

Re: Wildshaper
If you have 5 manifester levels, and are willing to sink a few points into Wis, Metamorphic Transfer also acts like Assume Supernatural Ability, and you can stack the feat repeatedly.

Re: Wildshaper
1: By RAW, you can indeed only pick one form's one ability through Assume Supernatural Ability. It can be broken if you pick some nutty form with some nutty abilities, but by and large it's relatively unimpressive.
Metamorphic Transfer is a bit better. The big drawback is the Manifester Level requirement. One-level dip in anything Psionic (allow me to suggest Ardent to get powers based on your manifester level) & Practiced Manifester [CPsi] would qualify you for it though.
You get any Su ability of any form you change into, but only 3 uses total per day. So it's better in that you choose the ability to gain upon changing and you can get it from any form, but the drawback is being limited per day and needing to get a manifester level.Campaign Journal: Uncovering the Lost World - A Player's Diary in Low-Magic D&D (Latest Update: 8.3.2014)

Re: Wildshaper
Then there's always the planar shepherd PrC from Faiths of Eberron.
Don't go there, though. Seriously, don't - the class is on par with incantatrix for sheer brokenness. On that note, assuming supernatural abilities in general can be pretty broken - sure it might be sub par with most forms, but it only takes one really good one to utterly break the game. There's a reason shapechange is a 9th level spell, after all.Recent Homebrew Projects:
