4e playtest hybrid rules online
Im almost shocked that I cant find a topic on this one yet. Wizards has put playtest hybrid rules online today, from PHB3.
What these rules do is a bit like the 3.5 or even earlier multicasting. Basically it splits up the classes in two, ie starting HP etz are all half and you only gain a few of the class abilities with fewer uses most of the time. The cleric for instance doesn’t get channel divinity and can only use his healing power once, no ritual casting and only healing booster ability. He would however also gain some abilities from the other class.
You have to evenly split your powers between the classes per type of power that is so one at will form each., of course you will have a odd number of powers half the time so that’s ok.
I think that this is a interesting option, and it for sure ads in a lot of character customization some people missed in 4e.Your Personal Undead
