[4e] Gettin' Familiar with Familiars
So, I'm trying to get a rough (or specific) hierarchy of power between the various familiars introduced in the Arcane Power supplemental.
I see the Falcon and the Rat as being incredibly useful (overwhelmingly so), with the Crafter Homonculous and Book Imp being extremely helpful.
What does the Playground think?
(Yeah, I know I'm showing increased thread posting lately. I've been antsy for Arcane Power for months and mizunths.)Last edited by Burley; 2009-04-23 at 01:39 PM. Reason: Thought of a nicer title...
Check out a bunch of stuff I wrote for my campaign world of Oz.
SpoilerI am the Burley, formerly known as Burley Warlock. I got my name changed. Please remember me...

Re: [4e] Gettin' Familiar with Familiars
That article is very hit and miss...
For example, the disembodied hand, its like Quick Draw and then some.
The Ooze... what worth does its active ability have? The thing has no bonus on stealth checks and can't manipulate objects, so what if it can squeeze through a way tiny hole?
