Despite my love for all things Redcloak, that was amusingly ironic.

And who knows, perhaps O'Chul will serve as a character-development catalyst for someone other than the MitD.

I have the feeling that smashing Xykon's phylactery is not going to work (or not going to happen) at this point ... which is too bad, 'cause man, that paladin sure deserves the victory. He could have broken out and saved himself a long time ago, but instead he waited and tolerated torture for his chance to be a hero. I mean, wow, that's tough.

I suppose that Xykon will have to drop V to go get his phylactery back, which gives the poor foolish elf an opportunity to escape.

seems O'chul will create the distraction that lets V get away.
and yes, smashing the holy symbol will not hurt Xykon in itself, it just means he wont be able to regenerate.
