[3.5] Climbing Enemies (looking for a Feat)
I seem to recall a Feat that allowed you to actually climb a creature suffiently larger than you, but I don't remember the name or the sourcebook. Can anyone help?

FAQ is not RAW!Avatar by the incredible CrimsonAngel.
Saph:It's surprising how many problems can be solved by one druid spell combined with enough aggression.
I play primarily 3.5 D&D. Most of my advice will be based off of this. If my advice doesn't apply, specify a version in your post.

Maybe I'm confusing it with a Class Feature?

Re: [3.5] Climbing Enemies (looking for a Feat)
Giantbane is a tactical feat from Complete Warrior, which grants this as a combat option.
You have to move beside a creature (at least) two size-categories larger than yourself; on the round following that, you make a free climb check to grab onto them, and you then occupy some of their space. If it moves, you move with it. It can attack you, but at -4 to all rolls due to it being awkward.
It can also try to shake you off with a grapple check, opposed by your climb check. Meaning at high levels you're gonna get thrown-off easily if you don't have some huge climbing bonuses. It can be accomplished with enough magical aid; just be sure to be on good terms with a wizard who can craft you stuff to help.Last edited by Deepblue706; 2009-06-06 at 11:19 PM.

Re: [3.5] Climbing Enemies (looking for a Feat)
Giantbane was the one I was thinking of. I missed it because Tactical Feats have their own subsection. Thanks for the help, everyone

There is also a weapon style feat from Dungeonscape called Hammer and Piton, which let you, suprise suprise, hammer pitons into your enemy. The fun part is that now you can climb them
