Scout.
Does anyone know where I can get all of the class features for the Scout class from Complete Adventurer?

I play primarily 3.5 D&D. Most of my advice will be based off of this. If my advice doesn't apply, specify a version in your post.

Re: Scout.
Rip out half of the rogue class and use what's left. Add fast movement.
- Chameleon Base Class [3.5]/[PF]: A versatile, morphic class that mimics one basic party role (warrior, caster, sneak, etc) at a time. If you find yourself getting bored of any class you play too long, the Chameleon is for you!
- Warlock Power Sources [3.5]: Making Hellfire Warlock part of the base class and providing other similar options for Warlocks whose powers don't come from devils.

Re: Scout.
Check page 160 of http://crystalkeep.com/d20/rules/DnD...asses-Base.pdf for the details (I thought I'd post the link in case you hadn't heard of Crystal Keep).

Re: Scout.
On a related note, how legal is crystalkeep? It's dead useful, but seems ... suspiciously free

Re: Scout.
From what I can gather, it's fully leagal (I'm not sure how it is, but considering how long it's been up, I don't think there's any problems with it).

Re: Scout.
Helpful.
Crystalkeep is the way to go. If you do happen to get your hands on the Complete Adventurer book, refer to the official D&D Errata because WotC made a couple of changes after that book was published. I think the changes are already included in the Crystalkeep file, though.Awesome avatar courtesy of Dorian Soth.
Optional rules I'm working on (please contact me if you have ideas for developing them!):
Generic Prestige Classes; Summon Monster Variant; Advanced Dodges and Dex Bonuses; Incantations to Raise the Dead

Re: Scout.
Game rules can't be copyrighted, only their representation. Crystal Keep is pretty much safe. With 3.X out of print, WotC has no reason to even try to achieve the chilling effect with threats of legal action.
It may be against forum rules, though, which have nothing to do with the legality of anything.Last edited by Tsotha-lanti; 2009-06-18 at 09:36 AM.
