Ok, I'm starting a fifth level Three point Five campaign and I'm looking for a way to get it kicked off. Its Living Greyhawk, so any ideas?

Who, what, where, when? Oh, possibly most important: WHY?

What will the theme of the adventure be? If I give you a scene in a portside city, sailors walking about and telling tales of giant sea monsters controlled by a pirate king, and you come back with "Well, actually I was thinking about a dragon hunt in the mountains," we won't get very far...

So far we have a human monk, an elf sorcerer, and two undecided players. That what when where is up too you. But one thing. They are just normal adventurers. A part of the adventuring guild

Drop them out of the sky.
Hang them upside down over a pit of hungry wargs
Start them outside the tavern
‘Twas a dark and stormy night
They wake to find themselves being held captive in a dungeon
They awake to find they were being dominated by a mind flayer. But a party of heroes has killed it and left you to fend for yourselves.
The party awakes in a pool of blood, and dead bodies on the floor
A hotel lobby
The king requests their presence.
The party is the products of a mirror of opposition (may have to be modified).
Teleported from another plane
The party finds their way to a tavern in the middle of the road.

that should do the trick.
