Having some trouble with maptools...

I cant seem to connect to a game. When I try to connect, it waits for aabout 3 minutes, then says "connection reset". I've tried reinstalling it and disabling my firewall, neither has worked.

Could possibly be any anti-virus/spyware programs you're running as well, and if you're running a Windows OS make sure it's own firewall is enabled/disabled.

Really, go over to the RPTools official community forums, and post in the corresponding MapTools place there. They've been dealing with this kind of issue since day 1, and when it comes to network stuff, they know their things. Just be ready to provide your Java version, ISP, and Operating System in your post, so they know what you're working with. In fact, if you plan on continuing to troubleshoot here, we will want to know some of that as well.

Are you sure that you've got the same version as everyone else? That may cause some problems.
