GLoG XXXII: The Loved and the Lost

Tia looks up at Vidalia and tilts her head again. Her tail swishes side to side happily.

Marley, wheeled by a meddrone, is pushed out of the kitchen.

"Quieter please. I don't want their attention."

((Plot is fun. I am in the beginning stages of making one myself.))

Runner thinks for a moment, then shakes his head. I am sorry. Without anything proof of her wrongdoing, I cannot help you. That, and he's friends with her. But, he decides to not say that.

[The Librarian]

Very well then...I appreciate your cooperation with us, but I'm af-
The blue elite puts his hand to his ear.
Excellent.
He then turns to his partner.
We found her living space, get rid of our new friend.
The red elite chuckles.
With pleasure.
The blue elite turns to Runner.
It was nice Knowing you Runner. HA HA HA!
the blue elite then turns invisible again. The red elite pulls out his Fuel Rod Gun and a Energy Sword and charges Runner.

Runner will quickly rise to his full height and take a step back. His shield is back on his left arm, and an energy cannon has appeared on his right. Do not make me have to fight. While he does this, he attempts to contact all the drones through the mainframe and tell them to protect Turtle.

Skrall2 walks in from the garden. He sees the Elite attacking Runner, and gets confused.

[ThePhantom]

"Push faster, now!"

Statement: I am pushing faster.
Query: Where you want to be pushed to?

"The Security Room, and quickly."

The meddrone pushs Marley to the security room.

Susan comes out of her quarters. She looks around, and sniffs the air. Someone is or was there. She'll try and pinpoint the location of the elite that came to the member's quarters using their scent.

[The Librarian]

The Other Red Elite not involved in the fight is currently in the Second Basement at the Drone Factory scrambling the transmitting signal of the drones.
The Red elite fighting Runner fires five explosive plasma cores at Runner. He then places the Gun on his back and begins to wall jump to make his way up the to eye level with Runner.

[Lex-Kat]

Tia looks up at Vidalia and tilts her head again. Her tail swishes side to side happily.

Vidalia smiles at the Fox-girl and pets her.

She'll head off that way then. Unless the other elite passes her or something.

Runner uses his shield to block the shots. They don't penetrate the shield, but leave some good sized dents and scorch marks. Seeing that the Elite is trying to get to Runner's head, he assumes that means a shot to the head is coming. Runner goes to avoid this by transforming into a motorcycle. He attempts to move over to the other side of the great room.

Skrall2 has now drawn his weapon, which is basically a gunblade. He aims at the Elite and fires an energy blast.

Skrall2 is a cyborg, with the only non-robotic part being the brain.

"Now, lets see. How do I get the special drones out? Lets see. Well, since I can't find them, I can at least get the security drones that I found to guard Chelonie."

Statement: Our pleasure.

Marley and the drones head over to the infirmary, to guard Chelonie's body.

[The Librarian]

The red elite pulls out his Energy Sword and tries to cut Runner face in half. When he transforms however, Sal-Thul falls to floor.
Come-on heretic is that the best you g-
Sal puts his finger to his earpiece.
What! But we can't move out yet were so close and I'm just begin to have some fun with th-...Yessir...understood.
Sal turns to Runner.
Its your ucky break dude I'm afraid I got run, but next were taking care of business and you better not be around.
The elite then turns invisible again and disappear.

((Deadtime for me.))

Susan stands up.
"Damn." She says. "deadtime." She heads off to the great room.

[The Bushranger]

Quinn and Misaki presumably enjoy their pancakes.

Alex rests uneasily in his room.

And Dani...


Dani lays awake for awhile by Sam's side, thinking, and the more she thinks...the more uncomfortable she gets.
The more hurt she gets...

Finally she rolls out of bed, very carefully.
Walks over to the desk, and pulls out a pen and a sheet of paper.

Sammie-

I love you. And I forgive you. And I want to marry you. I want to marry you as soon as you do. But I also need to tell you something I've kept meaning to tell you but never got the chance to, either purely from lack of time or from not wanting to upset you.

You know about Alexis, and I'm pretty sure I told you that I spent a night with Judy not long after I arrived here. But I've never told you about my first love, my first boyfriend. Dorothy knew he was no good and tried to convince me to leave him, but I 'knew' he was right and didn't listen. We argued so much she left me for awhile, and I stayed with him...and she was right. Because, without my knowledge (or, obviously, consent) he started slipping chemcials into my food - chemicals that he intended to sterilise me. And they worked. I only found out too late, and he nearly killed me when I confronted him. You don't need to worry about him - he's quite dead now. But I can never have children. That's why I was so happy when I found out you were pregnant even though what had happened to cause it.

I want to be able to trust you, Sammie. And I don't want to lose you. I need you to promise me that you'll never do anything like this again without talking it out with me first. Please? I'll be at the Taverna when you wake up and read this. If you can promise me that please join me.

She folds the note and puts it on the bed next to Sam...then teleports away.

Susan's in the greatroom, and notices Quinn and Misaki. She walks over.
"Hi Quinn, Misaki." She says.

Quinn looks up and smiles warmly. Hi, Susan! Want some pancakes?

She shrugs. "Sure." She sits down. "How've you been recently?"

[The Bushranger]

I'm OK. Quinn sighs a little. I had to face down a insane evil hobgoblin-demon-thing yesterday and I'm getting worried about Tobias but otherwise I'm pretty good.

[billtodamax]

"So, the usual, then?" Susan asks with a grin. She starts eating her pancakes.

[The Bushranger]

Quinn giggles a little and nods. All in a day's work...except I wasn't the one getting knocked around for a change!

Susan smiles at that.
"You know, I think you've spent more time in the infirmary than your room, Quinn." Says Susan in between mouthfuls

Mmm, pancakes with whipped cream and blueberries...

The meddrones actually keep a bed reserved for me. Quinn laughs.

"Really?" Susan starts laughing. "You should probably think about getting injured less." She says.

[The Bushranger]

Hey, it's not like I go out of my way to get knocked silly three times a week! Quinn grins and snags a pot of coffee off the nearby counter.

"Quinn, how many times have I been in the infirmary?" Susan asks, grinning. She knows the answer.

[The Bushranger]

Quinn just grins back and sticks her tongue out at Susan.
