GLoG XXXII: The Loved and the Lost

Well, I met her on the day I came here, actually. Alex smiles, blushing a bit. Of course, that wasn't all that long ago, but I've still tried my best to help her out.


Dani, waking up, doesn't move from her position, just quietly watches Sam happily.

Misaki looked at him quizzically. "And she's your best friend? Better even than the friends you grew up with?"

Sam, while ordinarily a light sleeper, is out of it now.

Alex smiles a little at Misaki. It's kinda a different kind of friendship. I have my childhood friends, and then there's here, seperate but equal...in four or five years you might start to understand it, he explains.


Dani smiles a little, glad to see Sam actually getting some actual rest for a change, and makes no move to wake her, instead draping an arm across her gently and hugging her close as she closes her eyes again.

"Oh." Misaki looks curious and perhaps a bit disappointed, but accepts the answer regardless.

((Aww... I see the perfect opportunity here, but it's too early to take the shot...))

In her sleep, Sam murmurs and draws closer to Dani.

Dani smiles softly and snuggles Sam a little closer still as she starts to drift back off to sleep, herself.


Alex smiles at Misaki. There's some things you have to be older to understand.



BR-the-player, unfortunatly, has to go shopping now.

What kid likes to hear that answer? Misaki sulks a bit.

Sam remains asleep.

But Angela, having come from the Taverna, walks inside.

And Alexis is heading down to the detention wing.

Sam later dresses and leaves her room to wander around the base.

People wandering may encounter Eko in the Great Room. She's a lizardperson wearing a belt and a bandoleer.

Susan is in the detention wing, checking up on any prisoners that may be there.

Lex and Falgorn are in detention, as I recall.....


Dani wakes up, but, for the moment, stays resting next to Sam, not wanting to move from being curled up against her partner's side.



Alex chukles softly at Misaki's expression, and leans back on the bench, closing his eyes.

[The Librarian]

The three Elites have returned to GLOG yet again. Two of them are in near the Gazebo, just talking quietly while invisible. The third one has broke into the detention room. He is also invisible but his cloaking system is damage and causes the invisibility to flicker occasionally.

Misaki looked at Alex for a bit, before deciding that she'd rather do something fun, like exploring. She hopped off the bench and wandered off into the Rose Garden.

Susan walks towards the elite, seemingly not noticing him/her/it, looking at a clipboard. However, just when she passes him/her/it she stretches out an arm and attempts to slam him/her/it onto the ground with superhuman strength.

Alex watches Misaki go with a small smile and a wave, before sighing and closing his eyes.

[The Librarian]

The elite notices the Susan's attempted attack and rolls about a meter ahead. Noticing her super strength though the elite smirks, and uncloaks revealing himself.
Ahhh...a challenge.
He appears to be about 7 ft tall and has blue armor. He is wielding two blue double hinged guns that fire a blue plasma (Plasma Rifle), and a Gravity Hammer on his back. The elite roars and runs at Susan firing the plasma rifles.

Susan rolls to the side, throws a couple of throwing knives at the elite, then turns into a wolf and bounds towards him.

[The Librarian]

One of the knives pierces a little though the armor causing him to wince a little. After yanking the knife out of his arm and tossing it aside he notices that Susan turn into a wolf.
What heresy is this.
He swaps out one of his rifles for his gravity hammer and lunges at the wolf spinning the hammer and firing his other rifle.
WWWWaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh!

Susan dodges a blow from the gravity hammer, but is hit down her left side by the plasma rifle.
Ow, ****. She thinks. She'll try and lunge for the elite's throat.

[The Librarian]

The gravity hammer is a two handed weapon leaving him greatly unbalanced with his first swing that produces a powerful gravity wave. Seeing that the wolf continues its attack despite the plasma burn, he tosses his other gun aside, and grips the gravity hammer with both his hands and leaps a good 3 feet into the air and tries to hit the wolf when she comes up to eats his throat and smashes his hammer onto Susan backbone most likely breaking all the discs in it.

Indeed it does. Susan Tries to stand up, but falls over again. She starts howling.

Misaki's wandering end up leaving her at the Gazebo.

[The Librarian]

That was actually a challenge. I do believe I was abit quick to finish you though. Hmm...
The elite pulls a small stand with a diamond shaped orb on emitting a faint green light.
This should heal your bones, and warm the blood of your veins like the glory of battle.
The elite presses on the orb and places it near Susan. The faint green light turn into a green mist ball at least 4m in diameter and whether she resists it or not, Susan can begin to feel here bones litterally putting themselves back together.
I need you to live if so I can get some info from you.

Dani just happened to be emerging from her and Sam's room, seeking food, when she hears the howling...

She breaks into a run for the Detention Area!

She'll probably see Vlad a little way ahead of her, also running towards the detention area.

Susan'll try and lunge at the elite as soon as he heals her.

((Is there a control to lock the Detention Room?))

The elite looks up for a moment and hears the faint sound of footsteps and walks towards the entrance.
A weary person, I must not let him interfere.
He speaks into his earpiece on his helmet.
Sal-Thul, Gren, I found the person we're looking for, but I'm about to get some company soon. Make sure they don't interfere. I'm located at the Detention room.
Got it on our way Captain.
The two elites in the rose garden immediately make a dash for the detention room. Dani may or may not notice their sillouhettes being cloaked.
