In Sam's room, Dani wakes up, and sits up, stretching and yawning sleepily.


Alex exits his room, and heads for the Training Room.

[Fredthefighter]

Wispy is wandering about in the training room. Being generally curious, although it hasn't noticed Alex yet.

[Dr. Bath]

Jorg Gurnson bursts into the main room of the Good League of Good base.

The CHALLENGE 'tween the Shrubranger and I, JORG GURNSON CHAMPION OF BLAIRO, has BEEN left TOO LONG. WHERE is that COWARDLY manling!? Why does he HIDE and Not face me!

Sam's asleep, but shows signs of having been up and doing things earlier.


Angela is wandering.

A drone approaches JORG.
Request: Please refrain from breaking down the door, it has been replaced three times in the last month already.
Statement: There are no members here named 'Shrubranger'.
Query: Are you here seeking redemption?
Further Query: Would you like some cake?



Dani smiles at Sam and watches her for a few minutes, before hopping out of bed and heading for the shower.


Alex is busy working over a punching bag in the Training Room.



Quinn comes in the door behind Jorg....

Wispy floats over to Alex.
Hi.

[Dr. Bath]

Jorg picks up the drone and shakes it.

What MANNER of creature ARE you? I, JORG THE LONG LEGGED, know of NO contravice THAT can SPEAK the words of men. This ONLY serves to DELAY me! WHY do you HIDE the pale man? IS he your COMPATRIOT? Hiding him WILL only bring SHAME open him and your SHARED place of ORIGIN!


...I, JORG GURNSON, CONFECTION CONNOISSEUR, will not consume ANY cake at this TIME.

[The Bushranger]

The drone is shaken silly.
Security drones close on the scene!
Quinn sighs and speaks up from behind JORG GURNSON.
Please don't shake the drones, it makes them upset...


Alex looks over at Wispy and raises an eyebrow, pausing his punching. Hey there.


Dani starts singing in the shower.

[Fredthefighter]

I'm Wispy. Nice to meet you.
Alex might feel a lot happier now.

[Dr. Bath]

Jorg drops the drone heavily, and turns, glowering to the woman.

Who ARE you then? Do YOU have KNOWLEDGE of the whereabouts of the plae, cowardly SHRUB man? I, JORG GURNSON, ICE WARRIOR, do not TAKE challenges against my NAME lightly, and will not REST til closure is FOUND.

Alex smiles and leans back against the wall. I'm Alexsandr Russkij. It's good to meet you, Wispy.


I'm Quinn. I'm kind-of one of the people in charge here. I have no idea who you're talking about and we really don't like people who break down our doors.

Security drones have formed a semi-circle around them, in fact...

And even if there was some shrub-person here, we've had it up to here with people attacking our members.

And she hasn't even heard about Susan yet!



Dani is still showering and singing.

Wispy floats there in place, because Fred has no idea what to do.

[Dr. Bath]

Jorg narrows his eyes at Quinn.

Your SUSPICION insults me. However I, JORG GURNSON THE PEACEABLE, do not WISH for unnecessary VIOLENCE. Do not DEFY me in my SEARCH, madam, if you hide THIS cowardly man FROM me, you will NOT be forgiven. PERHAPS a more ACCURATE description would BE pertinent? THIS manling had snow white LOCKS, pale FEATURES, an arrogant DEMEANOUR, and wore a BLACK and WHITE costume SEWN of cloth I, JORG GURNSON BARROW DEFENDER, know not of.

So, what brings you here? Alex asks Wispy curiously.


Quinn shakes her head. Sorry, but there's nobody here who fits that description. There's a girl who visits sometimes who kinda sounds like that, but no guys.



Dani finishes her shower and, slipping on a robe, goes to try and wake up Sam.

Dani's not going to be too happy, as when she walks in she'll see Angela sitting on the bed, touching Sam's cheek and casting a spell. Content slumber.

[Fredthefighter]

I just... appeared outside one day and this was the first place I saw. The people here are friendly.

[Dr. Bath]

Where would I, JORG GURNSON MOON RAKER, find SAID woman? She MAY have KNOWLEDGE of the male, or PERHAPS be a relation.

Jorg's face smooths slightly, but he still looks a little annoyed.

[The Bushranger]

Dani squeaks in surprise, but manages to restrain herself from punching Angela out.
Hey! No enspelling my girlfriend!
She puts her hands on her robed hips and tries to look furious.
This being Dani, well, her attempt isn't quite successful...


Yeah, they are, Alex agrees with a smile. My folks sent me here because there's a war on at home and they figured this place would be safe.



You should check out Erin's Emporium, located Inside. She owns the gun shop, Quinn explains to JORG.

That shows they care though.
Wispy gives off the feeling of it smiling.

Well, you're obviously not doing a good job at that if she needs a spell to sleep soundly. Angela smirks at Dani and stands up, because she likes feeling taller than the person she's talking with for a change. Did you get my note?

[Dr. Bath]

Hurm. Very WELL.

Jorg turns and walks off. Directly through anyone or thing that tries to block him.

[The Bushranger]

It was her birthday the other day. I think I wore her out!
Dani smirks, then sighs and drops into a chair. I did. And I apprecate the thought, but...


Yeah. Alex smiles. And I've met some great people here. His cheeks color a bit.


Quinn manages to get out of JORG's way just in time, then sighs, and tasks some Engineer Drones to fixing the door.

Again.

Then another drone approaches her.

After a moment, she hustles to the Infirmary.

That's good then. It's always nice to make new friends.

But? She sits next to Sam's sleeping form and watches Dani's face. Yeah, she's waiting to see how long it takes before Dani looks at Angela and Sam and gets an idea that makes her blush.

[The Bushranger]

That'd be right about...
3...2...1...
now.

But only a little, as Dani quickly nips that idea in the bud.

But, I don't see any way Sammie would ever agree to it. I understand, kinda, I mean, it's your job to...do what you did, right? But...well, yeah...and what happened after that...
Dani trails off and looks down, sighing.



Yeah. Have you met Alexis yet? Alex asks Wispy.

[Fredthefighter]

Alexis? I don't think I have. Can't quite remember.

[FireFox]

Angela grins, revealing those sharp teeth. Come on Dani, you don't have another cleric around here, much less a High Priestess. And I'm technically family, so you'd be keeping things small and quiet if you want.

[The Bushranger]

Dani nods. I...would agree. If it was just up to me. But it's not. A...lot of stuff happened because of what happened, and, well, you'd have to get Sam to forgive you...

Asmodeus probably isn't ordering ice skates just yet...



You should. She's...really nice. Alex blushes. A lot.

Well, I hope I meet her some day then.

Oh, okay. Angela's grin quickly fades. Oh, I can't do it while magically influencing her, can I?

Sam wakes up and looks between Angela and Dani in complete confusion.
