What do you think?(Zaibatsu System)
I'm just looking for people's honest opinions of this rpg setting and system. I'm trying to spark some interest in a pbp game of it. Thoughts anyone?

While there's waaaaay too much there to comment properly after just a quick look, but I can't fault your efforts so far.
As a rules lite cyberpunk game, it looks good. Have to actually try it to judge the rules. A few images wouldn't go amiss (many of the modern day pictures on Google look pretty cyberpunk-y to me). The Tokyo section was especially nice, but the 'guidebook style' writing could probably use a bit more writing flair (which you certainly have in other sections). I've certainly seen worse introductory scenarios too.
Had you thought about adapting this to one of the rules-light systems out there (especially those that run off concept/aspect based mechanics, like FUDGE or Risus) or are you determined to go your own way? If you want advice and serious critique from actual small press designers as well as enthusiastic amateurs, then you could do a lot worse than seek out The Forge, by the way.
Anyway, I liked it and will go back for a more in-depth look, so its doing its job...Last edited by Armoury99; 2009-07-04 at 02:02 PM.

Ha. Sorry just to clear something up. I did not write this. Just something I found and want to experiment with. I love the setting and the idea of it. I've thought of adapting it to something else myself, but I'd rather try to make the original author's idea work.
