That's awesome . I love how Team Peregrine knocks off a hobgoblin soldier when they teleport, it's a nice touch.

That's pretty cool. I wonder whether we'll see them in action or not.

It's nice that Haley and Elan decide to be open about what they did while apart.

I think we have now met one of the much-debated "Nine Sides": The Elves.
Congratulations, you can link to TV Tropes. This does not mean you have special insight into the storytelling process, much less the author's mind. Stories don't need to fit into neat boxes, you know.

Cloudkill, Contingency, and Resilient Sphere are the only visible spells on that list we haven't seen?

What are the ones starting with Gre and Sto? Greater invisibility and Stoneshape? (I'm guessing not skin, because of his "raising the tower from the ground" bit)

Really?? Cuz I dont see some big schmoozy montage scene, and you know how the Giant loves his bardic traditions.

I could easily see this going on further, busting into the city a bit, getting some kinda reaction from Xykon, *and then* the big shot that says hey, next book kids.

Q: How does one roust out an Epic Level lich from a nigh-impentrable fortress?

A: By sending in parties of adventures. One party at a time.

Cloudkill is seen in Start of Darkness; Resilient Sphere is probably there, too, when Xykon puts Eugene in a bubble (as also seen here).

Contingency is totally new, as is the likely Epic Mage Armor at the bottom.
