Whats with the warlock?

So I'm trying to make a warlock for a game at home, but I cant think fo any good races for them. Can anybody think of any?
We are playing 3.5ed

It's effectively +2 hit and +2 AC and some other neat bonuses

What level cheese factor at we talking here?, something small is good for the bonus to hit and AC, though a +dex race can give that.
+con is useful if you are aiming hellfire as they can chew through it if you don't have restorations handy.
Jermlaine is a lovely cheese, can fly, +6 dex, and tiny size...

Whisper Gnome is decent, +dex, +con, small size. Penalty to Cha though... And really good at hiding incase of emergencies

Catfolk are OK - +1 LA, +4 DEX, +2 CHA, 40 ft base speed...

(Lesser) Aasimar is good. Charisma boosting race is always nice.

Whoever said Pixie is also right. Greater Invisibility knocks Dex off their AC as well as Armour most times, and again very nice Stat boosts.

I'll have to note that charisma isn't really necessary unless you plan on focusing on Eldritch Essences and invocations with DCs. If you're going the blaster or glaivelock build, you can do without it.

However, UMD is always good to boost, especially since you have Deceive Item.

Hengeyokai (Oriental Adventures, sparrow form is fine-sized with a +14 ranged attack bonus at ECL 1) or Tibbit (Dragon Compendium, not as small as a sparrow but hey, you get to nuke things while wandering around as a house cat).

If you're looking at boosting your save DCs, Star Elf (Unapproachable East) + Magic-Blooded Template (Dragon #306, check crystalkeep for details) gives you a nice +4 Cha bonus with LA +0. Yes, it's a FR-specific book, but Star Elves are extraplanar, and their backstory can easily be transferred to another campaign-world.

If you're looking for something non-FR, Spellscale (Races of the Dragon) starts with a +2 Cha bonus.

Hellbred (race from Fiendish Codex II) can also start with a +2 Cha bonus, and is probably the juiciest for character-background-flavor.

If you want a stealth-based warlock, Whisper Gnome.

Otherwise, Human or Strongheart Halfling for the feat.

+4 LA though...

Was always funny using getting someone in trouble in one form, then use Walk Unseen and go down an alley shift into another form and join in the accusations.

My personal favorite cheese template is the half-fey:

Bonus to wisdom and dex (+2), major bonus to charisma (+4), Damage Reduction (5/cold iron--if this stacks with the Warlocks DR, it's even better), gains flying ability which saves on invocations on fell flight and spiderclimb, charm person at will (saves on or adds a basic invocation), and you're IMMUNE to enchantment spells! All for the LA of +2 and a -2 hit to constitution.

Of course, in general, LA kinda sucks for warlocks.

Changeling then take hir into the Chameleon PRC for 2 levels for a feat that you can change each day. Each day you can select a different evocation of less than your max level though extra evocation, or if you have some downtime at late levels you can pick up a crafting feat.
