They'd work better than the assassin's Death Attack, anyway...

Horid Wilting also works... but it's 8th level IIRC, and not as effective as Wail of the Banshee.

You'll still have to 'observe' the targets for 3 rounds each. However, as an assassin need to make the death attack within 3 rounds of completing the initial 'studying', this does not allow for multiple-target death attack unless you have multiple minds.
So cast schism and observe two victims (because you develop yet another mind in addition to your primary) and attack at the begining of the fourth round. That's the only way I can think of that would allow mult-death attack.
