Kobold only campaign

How would I make an all kobold, no other race game of D&D (possibly Modern) viable ?

And what kind of plot should I use ? Something like...a UFO crashes in the desert and the bodies of 5 gnomes are recovered from the wreckage, it is covered up as an experimental weather balloon. The PC's are kobolds in the army, stationed at the base where the aliens are brought... ?

Based on what you said since gnomes are the inventer race the gnome corpses could be infected with a nano virus that infests living things and takes control. First the dead gnomes come back to life and start killing people, then some of the kobold guards and its up to the PCs to restore order to the base. Just like in the computer games.

I look at the OPs pics and think WW2 Commando movie. Draguns of Navarone, Who Cowers Wins, The Especially Dirty Dozen, Where Weasels Dare...

GURPS Goblins (find/replace "Goblin" with "Kobold") and Kobolds Ate my Baby ("All Hail King Torg!") should be useful mandatory reference material for your Kobold game.

Or even better, Kobalds and *other* people. Otherwise, there's nothing special about being a Kobald, as everything would be built to their scale. That would make an interesting universe, Modern, but with no shadow or vale, just more sentients then just humans.

All Hail King Torg! (No Kobold Death Check for me, today!)

Reading the Life of a Kobold in Races of the Dragon gives an adequate description of what a kobold adventuring party could be, Sorcerer, Ranger, I think the other 2 were rogues or something, with a Dire Ferret animal companion and another Riding Dire Ferret. Also reading of Goblins and applying it to Kobold adventures should be sufficient in providing inspiration.

And unfortunately, I cannot DM. Since I cant keep a PbP schedule to save my life and of any other living being in the multiverse. But I'd kill for a spot in a PbP of an all kobold campaign.

Well, an all-kobald campain world would be a bit bland, considering that kobalds pretty much become the new "human," just with new stats and a reflavored history. The first thing you'll want to do is to nail down exactly how much versatility you want your kobalds to have. Is this going to be a technology-intensive/only game? Is there magic? What about varient races of kobald? Do Dragonwrought kobalds exist? I say this because, as a player, the first thing I would do in a given campain world like this would be to diversify my charecter as much as I can from the common crowd, with the Dragonwrought feat (and the subsequent, nigh manditory follow-up feats) being my weapon of choice.
