Hmmm, considering in 3rd Ed Plate tends to be incredibly impracticable under the best of circumstances (let alone in a desert), the idea a Leather Headband confers more AC than it is quite believable.

Loving the update rate.

This comic reminded me so much of good old times. And good to finally have clarification on their outfits. I always thought she wore long pants because of how hard on the knees short ones would be for a tumbling acrobatic rogue, but it's nice to be sure. Elan's quip about boots was nice too.

And heh, she still has the lime green boots. XD She's been carrying them, what, seven years now? XD

Bad idea, though, Haley, with the "flaunty" armour. You certainly don't want to get sunburned in a desert, especially not with a redhead's complexion.

Deuce = 2

So since the aim of the game is to get as close to 21 as possible, drawing a lot of 2s means a lot of hits (draws).

(NOTE: 2 because aces [1s] are also worth 11, depending on choice of the player)... although I guess it'd be 10 cards with all 2s and 11 with 1/11s... i need to stop thinking about these things.

"deuce" means "two" in cards. If you had a deck filled with twos, you'd be hitting a lot in Blackjack.

Anyone else feel a Dark-Sun theme to this land? Even the title... it'll cost you an Armor Leg, that's an old 2nd Ed Dark Sun Piecemeal Armor rule. Nevermind the haggling...

Sidenote: It seems like she's going to be wearing the boots of speed permanently now. Any chance she could get Elan's Boots of Elvenkind touched up too? The shopkeeper certainly got enough cash in that transaction to do it.

EDIT: It also seems like Durkon's eyeing a v-cut chestpiece like Roy's. Maybe they're in vogue? (Or maybe it's just hot )
