Looking for a funny thread
Does anyone have a link to an old thread (from the gleemax forums I think) where posters were mocking silly D&D weapons like dire swords, and posting pictures of crossbows that fire crossbows?

No, but I know which one you're talking about. It involved a "Dire Tarrasque" flail which was composed of four flails combined with each chain terminating in a Tarrasque.
