Was V's attack on the turban dude worth the possible loss of the diamond dust? Was it worth the spell slot? Should (s)he have maximized it instead of quickening it? He was unarmed, so no AoO. And most importantly, was it funny as hell?

I initially thought this was going to be another "morally justified" thread. Then I realized, "Nah, it's not fully in the title, it's probably a subversion."

And no, I don't think it was worth the spell/loss of diamond dust.

...which is why it's probably going to get locked, as the mods are pretty sick of them. In fact, I think the only serious "morally justified" thread was the "Roy's Attack on Miko" one.

And I'm going to say, NO! Why? Because it's obviously what Turban Guy with a Toad wanted V to do...and in my experience, once a wizard wastes high level spell slots like that, the DM takes the opportunity to send some REAL challenges at the party.

But as the comic is finally getting back to it's roots (funny funny), I say all pain and loss (Roy died, so dieing is included) is worth the price of a laugh. I have even slammed my head through drywall to make people laugh.

But yeah, I hate the "Morally justified" threads also. And I'm not on these forums often enough to have seen more than two.

EDIT: Turban guy was asking for it (literally), and since V is a generous person (ROFL ROFL ROFL!) (s)he gave the man what he was asking for. It was the nice thing to do!
