More information on the campaign is needed. IE, what level are you creating, what else is in the group, what do you like to play, etc?

Couple questions ... That's an odd distribution. Any chance of rearranging them? Are those the initial level 1 stats? Have you added in any racial modifiers yet (or chosen a race for that matter)? Is starting as an older character an option? And are you limited to the PHB for base classes?

I will be playing a lvl 5 character.
The class type doesn't much matter, I play most classes.

No stat rearranging is available, they were rolled in order sadly.
These are lvl 1 unmodified stats.
Any class in the OGL is available and core races only.

In that case, I'd suggest middle-aged Elf or Halfling, Wizard or Psion.

Artificer, Factotum, or Archivist would be my suggestion. You could also make a good Warblade with that array.

Duskblade (and also swashbuckler) would also work.

Level 4 stat increase: add 1 to dex (+1 AC, +1 ranged attack) or str (+1 melee attack and damage)

Level 8 (when you get there) to the other stat.

Any class in OGL? OK... (in order of preference)

Wizard (high Int)

Rogue (high Int)

Fighter (high str)

Cleric / Druid (reasonable wis)

Ranger (high Str, reasonable wisdom)

Paladin (high Str, reasonable wisdom, low cha )

Barbarian / monk (medium dex , high str & Int)

Bard / sorcerer (Low cha )

LA bought off (OGL content) Tiefling Wizard would be interesting, provided you can avoid getting hit by 6 points of charisma damage (causing you to fall into a coma).
