Duskblade not proficient with simple weapons?
The book doesn't mention it. I was under the impression every class was... the Beguiler (in the same book) says he is proficient with simple weapons.

Not every class is proficient with simple weapons in general. Most that have proficiency with martial weapons are, though...

As pointed out, it's corrected in the errata, but not every class gets simple weapon proficiency - Druids, Monks and Wizards do not get simple weapon proficiency; instead they get proficiency with a small selection of specific weapons. Originally Posted by Zovc
