That said, what you want is the Einhander feat, from the tactical feats section of Player Handbook II, I believe.

Also, Einhander sucks. You get a +2 to AC when fighting defensively, +2 to Tumble checks, and can Feint using Sleight of Hand as a Free Action once per opponent. And all of those things come with caveats and restrictions.

There's also the single weapon style in the Dragon Magazine Compendium that gives you a dodge bonus when using one weapon and nothing in the off-hand.
